Vintage football shirts deserve some extra care. We recommend washing your shirt by hand to keep the fabric, colours, badges and prints in the best possible condition.

Hand washing — Recommended
Wash gently in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing, twisting or wringing the shirt.

Washing machine — Max. 30°C
If you choose to use a washing machine, turn the shirt inside out, wash at a maximum of 30°C and use a gentle cycle with a low spin speed.

Let it air dry
Never use a tumble dryer. Let your shirt dry naturally.

Avoid bleach & fabric softener
These can damage the fabric, colours and prints.

Be careful with ironing
Never iron directly over sponsors, namesets, numbers or badges.

For vintage, signed, match-worn or especially delicate shirts, hand washing is always the safest option.
